About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Experience

Salesforce Automation Services is the team behind Flow Builder and the automation layer that powers Agentforce. Millions of admins and developers build on these tools every day, running over 600 billion automations a month. As automation becomes agentic—where users increasingly instruct and collaborate with AI across their workflows—we are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Design to lead our next chapter.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, User Interface / User Experience to act as a trusted cross-functional leader who delivers scalable, user-centered solutions. Crucially, you will lead with care—promoting team health, resolving blockers, and protecting a sustainable pace in a high-velocity engineering environment. You are comfortable operating independently across large-scale programs, applying systems thinking to align design with business outcomes.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Champion wellbeing by fostering psychological safety, providing day-to-day prioritization, and creating space for designers to learn, grow, and do their best work.

Lead and grow a high-impact UX team building AI-powered, cross-platform automation experiences, with a focus on Flow Builder and the broader Automation Services platform.

Define and uphold design standards to eliminate redundant interface work, scaling accessibility, quality, and consistency through shared systems, critique, and documentation.

Drive strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the Automation Services platform, using research, data, and experimentation to align user-centered solutions with business goals and long-term strategy.

You have 6+ years of design leadership experience, with a track record of hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing Product Designers within automation or AI platform domains.

You own the design quality bar for a product area and can raise craft across a team, balancing the needs of novice and expert users.

You influence product and function-level roadmaps by surfacing insights and clarifying ambiguity, shaping priorities alongside Product and Engineering leadership.

You actively use AI tools in your own practice and can guide a team through AI-native workflows, including agent design, persona development, and evaluating AI-generated prototypes and documentation.

You bring a background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Front-End Development, or equivalent practical experience — we highly value diverse backgrounds, including extracurricular leadership, military experience, and volunteer roles.

You have designed or managed teams focused on platform automation, workflow, or low-code/no-code building tools.

You have direct experience with Salesforce automation products such as Flow Builder, or have shipped products where people plan, act, and refine work alongside AI.

You have partnered closely with design systems and accessibility teams to scale consistent, inclusive experiences.
