Lemonade, Inc. in New York (Soho office) is seeking a Senior Manager, Treasury to lead corporate treasury operations. You will manage banking relationships, cash forecasting, and investment portfolio strategy while supporting global entities as Lemonade scales in new markets and products.

The role requires 5+ years in treasury or corporate finance, strong Excel/Google Workspace, and GAAP knowledge. Hybrid work 3 days/week; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience across Cash Management, Treasury Operations, FX, and Investment Management
• Extensive treasury operations background including banking and cash operations, forecasting
• Proficiency with TMS solutions, including Trovata and Clearwater
• High proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
• Solid command of U.S. GAAP, ASC 820, CECL
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with banking and investment management partners across Lemonade's global entities
• Oversee global cash position and cash flow forecasting to support liquidity needs
• Partner with Finance and Accounting to execute treasury projects end-to-end
• Monitor and manage the corporate investment portfolio and adjust policy for better returns
• Quantify and hedge foreign currency exposures across transactional, economic, and translational bases
• Manage intercompany relationships and FX translation exposure
• Ensure treasury controls documentation and support audits

What you’re applying for

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Treasury to develop and manage Lemonade's corporate treasury operations. You'll be part of the Finance team, building and maintaining relationships with our banking and investment management partners while supporting key stakeholders across all of our global entities. In this role you'll

Manage relationships with banking and investment management partners, serving as the primary point of contact across Lemonade's global entities

Oversee the company's global cash position and cash flow forecasting, ensuring liquidity strategy supports ongoing operating needs

Partner with Finance and Accounting to execute treasury operations projects end-to-end

Monitor and manage the corporate investment portfolio, recommending strategic changes to investment policy that improve returns

Quantify and analyze company-wide foreign currency exposures — transactional, economic, and translational — and make hedging recommendations

Manage intercompany relationships and arrangements, maintaining appropriate capital levels and managing FX translation exposure

Ensure compliance with treasury controls documentation and support quarterly reviews and annual audit requests

What you'll need

5+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience, with hands-on exposure across multiple disciplines — Cash Management, Treasury Operations, FX, and Investment Management

Extensive treasury operations background including banking and cash operations, cash management, and forecasting

Proficiency with TMS solutions, including Trovata and Clearwater

High proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace

Solid command of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 820 Fair Value Measurement and ASU 326 Financial Instruments - Credit Losses (CECL)

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Ready to work in our Soho office 3 days per week

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $180,000 plus equity + benefits.
