Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role

Crusoe is seeking a strategic and operationally minded Manager, Travel Programs to own and elevate our global travel program. In this highly cross-functional role, you will be the single owner of our travel platform (Navan), vendor relationships, policy governance, and employee travel experience. You will serve as the primary liaison between Finance, People, IT, and Procurement driving alignment, surfacing insights, and continuously improving how Crusoe employees travel.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, data, and employee experience and who is excited to build a best-in-class travel program at a company scaling as fast as Crusoe.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Platform & Operations Management: Own the Navan platform end-to-end — configuration, policy settings, and ongoing optimization. Coordinate with IT Systems on systematic Navan changes, defining requirements and supporting testing. Own policy exception approvals and accommodation requests from People, in alignment with Finance guidelines.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Manage the Navan vendor relationship as the primary day-to-day owner. Escalate contract, pricing, or SLA issues to Procurement as needed. Ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across all travel vendor relationships.
  • Program Health & Reporting: Lead monthly program reviews with Navan and report spend trends, policy compliance, and NPS findings to Finance and leadership. Serve as the cross-functional liaison for travel-adjacent stakeholders including Duty of Care, Global Mobility, and Finance — driving alignment and influence without direct ownership.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements as the company scales. Build scalable frameworks for policy governance, exception handling, and program operations.
  • Employee Experience & Training: Manage Navan training enablement and administration — oversee WorkRamp training completion for all employees and new hires, maintain up-to-date training resources, and ensure the organization is equipped to confidently book and manage travel. Analyze employee satisfaction metrics and partner with People Analytics to surface trends and close support gaps.
  • Documentation & Communications: Maintain Confluence travel documentation, FAQs, and program communications. Serve as the go-to resource for travel policy questions across the organization.
What You'll Bring to the Team
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate travel program management, ideally within a high-growth technology company.
  • Hands-on experience managing Navan or a comparable corporate travel platform (e.g., Concur, TripActions, Egencia).
  • Strong vendor management skills, comfortable owning external relationships and escalating when needed.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, IT, People, and Procurement.
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable pulling, analyzing, and presenting spend and compliance data to leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and drive programs forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, concise communicator, able to translate program complexity into accessible guidance for employees and stakeholders.
  • Experience owning or supporting a policy exception and accommodation review process is a plus.
Benefits

  • Restricted Stock Units
  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
  • Employer contributions to HSA account
  • Paid parental leave

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement
  • Mental health & wellness support
  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
  • Cell phone stipend
  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
  • Volunteer time off
  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
  • Daily meals allowance
  • Additional perks & programs specific to location
