Job Description:

The Title V Senior Manager will be responsible for statewide leadership and coordination of the Department’s administration of the Department’s Title V Block Grant for the state of Georgia.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (overall tasks and expectations of the position):
  • Provides leadership and management for the administration of the Title V Block Grant for Georgia.

  • Responsible for assuring compliance with the requirements of Title V Block Grant.

  • Responsible for coordination of the annual HRSA grant review.

  • Responsible for the development and submission of the Title V Block Grant applications, annual report, and five year needs assessment.

  • Determines and monitors key performance metrics and long and short-term objectives.

  • Responsible for efficient development and management funding allocations, grants, and contracts.

  • Responsible for assuring compliance with state and federal requirements and guidelines through ongoing evaluation, oversight, and reporting.

  • Provides ongoing coordination and monitoring to assure program timelines, reports, contract requirements are completed as required.

  • Responsible for effective collaboration between Title V and other DPH Programs, public health districts, agencies, and partners.

  • Responsible for supervision of staff.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters of Public Health or similar

  • Experience managing Federal Grants
