The Senior Manager, Strategic Operations & Analytics is responsible for leading high-impact operational initiatives, improving business performance, and building the analytical capabilities needed to support executive decision-making. This role serves as a strategic partner to Operations, Finance, Sales, IT, Supply Chain, and senior leadership by converting business objectives into executable plans, measurable results, and scalable operating processes.Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & ExecutionPartner with executive leadership to define, prioritize, and execute strategic business initiatives.Translate company objectives into clear operational roadmaps, milestones, ownership models, and performance measures.Lead cross-functional programs that improve profitability, scalability, service performance, and organizational effectiveness.Track progress against strategic goals and ensure alignment across departments, business leaders, and functional teams.Operations LeadershipIdentify, design, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and operational scalability.Lead transformation initiatives focused on productivity, quality, service levels, cost control, and customer experience.Develop operational performance frameworks, including KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and accountability routines.Champion continuous improvement practices and disciplined project execution across the organization.Business Analytics & IntelligenceBuild and maintain enterprise dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive performance visibility tools.Analyze operational, financial, labor, inventory, customer, and market data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic planning, resource allocation, and business performance management.Develop forecasting models, scenario analyses, and performance projections to support operational and financial planning.Improve reporting consistency, data integrity, and governance across business functions.Financial Performance ManagementPartner with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and long-range planning activities.Analyze revenue drivers, operational costs, labor utilization, overhead absorption, material usage, scrap, and profitability trends.Develop business cases and financial models to support make-versus-buy decisions, capital investments, and process improvement initiatives.Leadership & CollaborationBuild strong partnerships across Operations, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Technology, Quality, and Facilities teams.Lead analysts, project managers, and operational stakeholders through complex initiatives and structured problem-solving efforts.Present business cases, performance results, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.Qualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field required.MBA, master’s degree, Lean/Six Sigma certification, PMP, or equivalent advanced training preferred.Experience8–12+ years of progressive experience in operations, analytics, business intelligence, finance, supply chain, transformation, or strategic planning.Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level initiatives with measurable operational, financial, or service-level impact.Experience developing executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, operational scorecards, and business performance metrics.Strong background in financial analysis, operational planning, process improvement, project execution, and cross-functional leadership.Key Skills & CapabilitiesStrategic planning and executionOperational excellence and continuous improvementBusiness intelligence, analytics, and data visualizationPower BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and reporting automationFinancial modeling, forecasting, cost analysis, and business case developmentProject management, change management, and stakeholder alignmentExecutive communication, presentation development, and decision supportPerformance management, KPI discipline, and accountability routinesOther Important InformationThis is a hybrid position with some onsite work at our facility in Grand Prairie, TXPresence on the production floor or warehouse area may be required as needed for project work.This job description is not all-inclusive and is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
