Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Stockpile Engineering & Nuclear Deterrence Product Realization Group (2210). You will provide strategic leadership across multiple domains, engaging with NSE, DoW, USAF, Navy, and external partners to deliver safe, on-time product realization and sustainment.

The role emphasizes building teams, guiding program directions, and driving excellence in safety, quality and execution, while managing budgets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and advanced degree (MS and PhD) in relevant STEM field.
• Five or more years of demonstrated leadership and/or management experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent with the ability to obtain and maintain Sigma 15 access.

Responsibilities

• Lead managers and staff across multiple technical domains to ensure effective delivery of Sandia products and services to diverse programs.
• Lead direct customer engagement with peers across the NSE and external stakeholders such as DoW, US Air Force, US Navy.
• Maintain strong integration with Sandia organizations to anticipate and resolve challenges in product realization and sustainment.
• Develop staff and leadership expertise to meet evolving mission requirements and enhance organizational health.
• Demonstrate integrity, build trust, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Champion innovative methods to optimize scope, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
