RTX, in collaboration with Pratt & Whitney, seeks a Senior Security Program Manager to implement and oversee a Special Access national security program. This onsite role at East Hartford involves leading a CSSO team, ensuring Department of Defense SAP security compliance, and coordinating DoD security procedures and contract requirements.

Qualified candidates will possess a senior security background, active clearance, and ability to obtain TOP SECRET with SAP/SCI access.

What You Will Do

Support Pratt & Whitney’s Government Security Compliance department as a Special Programs Security Manager responsible for the implementation and oversight of a Special Access national security program. The selected candidate will be assigned to the Special Access Programs Security Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Government Security Compliance mission by assisting with full scope implementation of the Department of Defense Special Access Program Security Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures and additional contractual security requirements. As a Senior Manager, the candidate will have leadership oversight responsibilities for a team of CSSO’s and core compliance processes. Additionally, the candidate will complete duties as assigned by management to include but not limited to:

Qualifications You Must Have

• Advanced degree and 7+ years of Security, Military or Defense experience, or government regulated environment; OR Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree (or 2-year technical training) and 12+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma and 14+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience must include 5+ years working directly in Industrial Security field.
• Active US Government Security Clearance, SECRET level or higher.
• Ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance with SAP/SCI access.
• Ability to meet enhanced security requirements to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience implementing the DoD SAP Security Manual
• Familiarization with the ICD-705 Technical Specifications for SCIFs
• Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar databases
• Working knowledge of DoD SAP and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance
• Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
