Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Manager - Salesforce Professional Services to lead strategy, development, and execution of technology services within a defined portfolio. This role serves as a business, sales, and solutions leader, aligning Sales, Solution Architects, and Services teams while ensuring operational excellence and outcome achievement.

The position requires 10+ years delivering large-scale Salesforce solutions, including 3 years in management, and a track record of building executive

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions including planning, development, implementation and support, with 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives in a services context.
  • Salesforce certifications are a plus and vendor partnership experience is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Salesforce Professional Services practice to achieve financial, operational, customer satisfaction, and coworker development goals.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, pipeline growth, forecasting, utilization, and strategic planning with cross-functional teams.
  • Build executive relationships with customers, Salesforce, and partners as trusted advisor across meetings and reviews.
  • Establish operating rhythms for business reviews, workforce planning, forecasting, capacity management, and performance tracking.
  • Coach and develop managers, architects, consultants, engineers, and project leaders through certification and career programs.
  • Strengthen relationships with Salesforce and partners to align resources and growth objectives with a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Provide executive oversight of consulting, implementation, integration, and managed services engagements with governance and clear communication.
  • Own customer satisfaction and business outcomes across enterprise engagements and lead resolution of complex issues.
  • Define and evolve the Salesforce services portfolio with new offerings and reusable accelerators.
  • Expand adoption of Salesforce technologies and drive long-term growth and service innovation.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager - Salesforce Professional Services leads the strategy, development, and execution of technology services within a defined portfolio. This role serves as a business, sales, and solutions leader, driving alignment across Sales, Solution Architects, and Services teams while ensuring operational excellence and achievement of financial, customer, and coworker outcomes.

What you will do
  • Lead the Salesforce Professional Services practice, achieving financial, operational, customer satisfaction, and coworker development goals.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, pipeline growth, forecasting, utilization, and strategic planning while partnering with Sales, Solution Architects, and Services teams to identify, shape, and close strategic opportunities.
  • Build executive relationships with customers, Salesforce, and key partners, serving as a trusted advisor and executive sponsor across customer meetings, solution development, proposal reviews, sales pursuits, and C-suite discussions.
  • Establish effective operating rhythms for business reviews, workforce planning, forecasting, capacity management, and performance tracking.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop managers, architects, consultants, engineers, and project leaders through certification programs, career development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Strengthen relationships with Salesforce and strategic partners to align resources, capabilities, and growth objectives while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide executive oversight of Salesforce consulting, implementation, integration, and managed services engagements through strong governance, resource planning, risk management, financial controls, and clear customer communication.
  • Own customer satisfaction, loyalty, and business outcomes across strategic enterprise engagements, and lead resolution of complex customer, delivery, operational, and commercial issues.
  • Define and evolve the Salesforce services portfolio by launching new offerings, retiring legacy services, and developing reusable methodologies and accelerators.
  • Expand customer adoption of existing and emerging Salesforce technologies while driving long-term growth and service innovation.
What we expect of you
  • Bachelor's degree required and 10+ years of experience delivering large scale, enterprise-class technical Salesforce solutions including planning, development, implementation and support, including 3 years managerial experience OR, 14+ years of work experience delivering large scale, enterprise-class technical Salesforce solutions including planning, development, implementation and support, including 3 years managerial experience.
  • Ability to lead teams and gain consensus.
  • Ability to identify and resolve client, project, and team challenges.
  • Poven negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with vendors and business partners.
  • Strong collaboration with Sales and leadership teams to achieve service goals.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, change, and risk effectively.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams to deliver critical results.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop long-range plans for complex initiatives.
  • Experience leading a Salesforce consulting or professional services practice.
  • Salesforce certifications, a plus.
  • Experience managing Salesforce partner relationships and alliance programs.
  • Expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Industry Clouds, and Managed Services offerings.

Pay range: $140,150 - $185,000 depending on experience and skill set

Annual bonus target of 35% subject to terms and conditions of plan
