By 2031, we aim to deliver £40 billion in annual sales, leveraging our existing strong performance momentum to significantly increase our positive impact on the health of billions of patients globally. Our Ahead Together strategy is centred on early intervention to prevent and alter the course of disease, thereby protecting people and supporting healthcare systems. Our diverse portfolio consists of vaccines, specialty medicines, and general medicines. Through continuous innovation and a dedicated focus on scientific and technical excellence, we strive to develop and launch new, groundbreaking treatments that address critical health challenges.

The Senior Manager, Risk Intelligence & Decision Support leads the analytics and decision support elements of the Risk Automation & Intelligence portfolio, including the Key Risk Indicators and the process instrumentation and internal performance indicators that are core to GSK’s Risk Operations Centre. This is a delivery leadership role combining hands‑on work with team and stakeholder management. This role is critical in enabling leaders at all levels and functions of GSK to rapidly identify, evaluate and make decisions on risk, and in providing assurance that compliance requirements are met.

About the team

Risk Intelligence and Decision Support turns GSK's cyber risk data into decisions, and is a core part of GSK's Risk Operations Centre. The team builds the data platform, analytics and reporting that tell CSO leadership and the business where risk actually sits, what to do about it, and how effectively and efficiently the risk and compliance programme itself is operating.

  • Develop team capability through coaching, review and structured feedback.
  • Represent the area in CSO governance and cross-functional forums.
  • Own the Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) used across GSK, ensuring they are meaningful, well-defined and consistently reported and aligned to GSK enterprise risk management priorities.
  • Define and instrument the internal performance indicators that measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Risk and Compliance programme itself, as a core input to the Risk Operations Centre.
  • Build and maintain the data platform underpinning cyber risk intelligence and reporting.
  • Work with partner teams to engineer data pipelines that bring risk, control, threat and asset data into a single model.
  • Partner with security product teams to identify and leverage the data and telemetry produced by their tools and technologies to identify, evaluate and disposition risk at scale.
  • Develop analytics and models that quantify cyber risk and support prioritisation decisions.
  • Build dashboards and reporting for CSO leadership, business units and governance committees.
  • Define the metrics that matter and retire the ones that do not.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage and definitions are consistent across risk reporting.
  • Lead your team in using approved AI tools to improve productivity and ways of working, role‑modelling responsible use and follow GSK’s Responsible AI, privacy and security requirements.
