Confluence in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Senior Manager of Reporting & Consolidation to own US GAAP and IFRS accounting, consolidate global entities, and lead a growing team. You will manage intercompany activity, ensure the integrity of data in NetSuite, and drive global reporting and audit readiness across multiple jurisdictions.
The role combines hands-on accounting leadership with strategic oversight, including M&A support, ERP controls, and cross-functional partnership with FP&A and external
This is a newly created role, established to act as the "glue" between the Accounting and Finance functions. The volume and breadth of financial data moving between operational accounting and financial reporting continues to increase. The role exists to own that data flow: it ensures financial information passes accurately, completely, and on time between Accounting and Finance, so that both functions work from a single, reconciled source of truth.
The Senior Manager, Reporting & Consolidation owns the US general accounting, consolidation, and intercompany accounting functions, and oversees international accounting operations and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions. It is deliberately a hands-on, player-manager position: the successful candidate will personally lead the technical consolidation and reporting work while building, leading, and developing a team of accountants who report directly into the role.
As the Company integrates newly acquired entities into the global accounting structure, the role takes direct ownership of the consolidated reporting process, intercompany accounting, and US accounting operations. Working closely with the Finance and FP&A teams, the international controllers, and external partners, it ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, statutory compliance, and audit readiness worldwide.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on accounting leader who combines strong technical accounting expertise with the people-leadership skills to build and develop a team and the credibility to partner across Finance. Key responsibilities include:
We offer flexible working options for all employees.
Face reality with honesty, courage and accountability
Deal creatively with challenges and envision what the world could be
Build good habits into reflexes which become a part of our life
Committed to the success of others
Please note that we can only consider those with a Green Card or US citizenship.
As part of our recruitment process, we carry out identity checks on all candidates. Offers of employment are conditional upon the completion of satisfactory background checks prior to the commencement of work. These checks may include verification of identity, right to work in the UK, employment history, and other relevant pre-employment screening.
Please note that additional checks may be required depending on the nature of the role and the jurisdiction in which the role is based or operates. These may include, but are not limited to, criminal record checks or financial background checks where applicable.
