Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science plus 7 years of relevant industry experience
• PharmD degree plus 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in a complex matrix environment with strong negotiation skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Management experience preferred
• Experience in US Regulatory Affairs Advertising and Promotion

Responsibilities

• Proactively captures and disseminates regulatory policy changes impacting AbbVie’s interests
• Represents department in trade associations as needed
• Summarizes findings for distribution within AbbVie
• Oversee regulatory staff ensuring advertising and promotion materials are compliant
• Develop and guide implementation strategies for promotional activities
• Apply regulatory knowledge across therapeutic areas
• Ensure training and compliance with regulations and SOPs
• Present information to cross-functional groups
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration
• Work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office & 2 days remote) from one of AbbVie headquarters locations
