Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Real Estate – Tenant Leasing, plays a key role in driving business growth for Walmart’s Tenant Leasing team by managing a national portfolio with a strong focus on business development. This role supports our national food tenants across the U.S., proactively identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new business opportunities while building and nurturing strong tenant relationships. As the primary liaison between food tenants and Walmart, the Senior Manager ensures effective communication and collaboration, negotiates property uses, ensures compliance with lease terms, and manages tenant accounts. The ideal candidate has a background in the food/QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) space, including franchisee development and relationship building with restaurants. The Senior Manager will work closely with internal and external partners to advance strategic business objectives, oversee deal negotiations, and uphold Walmart’s reputation and customer experience.

What you’ll do
  • Support the national food tenants in our stores across the U.S., fostering strong partnerships.
  • Lead business development initiatives to grow and expand the tenant leasing portfolio.
  • Manage and optimize a portfolio of tenant relationships and business opportunities.
  • Negotiate property uses and lease terms to maximize value and minimize risk.
  • Ensure compliance with all lease agreements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support business unit goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and research to inform business strategy and identify emerging trends.
  • Promote Walmart’s brand and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior leadership.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 3 years’ experience in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related area.
