Job summary

Stryker is seeking aSenior Engineering Manager to lead the SmartCare platform development, covering cloud services, web applications, and mobile solutions in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will guide a distributed team, drive engineering excellence, and advance AI-enabled practices across the stack from cloud to mobile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in engineering leadership and people management.
• Experience leading distributed teams delivering cloud, mobile, and SaaS products at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Understanding of mobile architecture, CI/CD, release management, app store deployment, and mobile security best practices.

What You Will Do:

Leadership & Delivery

• Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions that improve scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.

What You Will Need:

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading distributed teams delivering cloud, mobile, and SaaS products at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures (Kafka)
• Understanding of mobile architecture, CI/CD, release management, app store deployment, and mobile security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on development experience with Java, Kotlin, Swift, or similar modern programming languages.
• Experience delivering enterprise mobile applications for iOS and Android; knowledge of React Native or Flutter.
• Familiarity with emerging AI technologies, including RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and secure deployment of AI-enabled applications.
