Job Description:
The Sr. Manager, Quality is responsible for leading site-wide quality performance and execution across the Anaheim operation. This role provides oversight of Internal Audits, Program Quality, Quality Engineering, and Quality Support, while partnering closely with Supplier Quality, Quality Control, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
The Sr. Manager, Quality drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on right-first-time execution, root cause corrective action, risk identification and mitigation, and zero-defect performance. This position plays a key role in reducing cost of poor quality, improving first pass yield, minimizing customer escapes, and ensuring compliance with applicable industry, regulatory, and statutory standards.
Essential Functions:
Lead quality strategy and execution across the Anaheim site
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and Quality Control to improve overall quality performance
Drive issue resolution through effective root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes
Conduct and support risk assessments and mitigation activities, including DFMEA and PFMEA
Implement mistake-proofing solutions to reduce internal nonconformance and customer escapes
Oversee the Corrective Action Board (CAB) and Zero-Defect Planning (ZDP) activities
Support New Product Development (NPD) activities, including APQP
Lead and support customer quality engagements, site visits, and quality-related events
Develop and execute strategies to improve key performance metrics such as:
Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
Customer Escapes
DPPM / defect reduction
First Pass Yield
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations including DoD, FAA, federal, state, and local requirements
Lead projects and provide training, logistical support, and infrastructure for quality initiatives
Develop and implement inspection planning, testing, and evaluation standards, methods, and procedures
Lead internal audit preparation and execution to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications
Manage departmental budget and monitor expenditure
Build, lead, and develop quality teams in a matrixed environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drive improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
10-16 years’ experience and extensive knowledge of quality systems and standards
Experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing
Background in Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence
Strong data analytics skills and experience with PowerBI
Demonstrated management and leadership experience
Experience in high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environments
Working knowledge of:
ISO 9001:2015
AS9100
AS9145
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance which requires US citizenship

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $139K - $259K. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $121K - $225K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
