Job summary

Big Health is a remote-first company seeking a Senior Manager, Provider Experience and Clinical Transformation to drive adoption of FDA-cleared digital treatments within US health systems. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape implementation strategy, and ensure smooth prescribing workflows and activation for patients.

You will coordinate with Sales, IT, and Revenue Cycle to optimize partnerships and deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in healthcare implementation or operations.
  • Degree in business, project management, healthcare, public health or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Licensed healthcare provider experience preferred (e.g., LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, PA, MD).
  • Experience with billing and revenue cycle workflows across multiple software systems.
  • Knowledge of payer reimbursement policy, HCPCS/CPT, and appeals processes.
  • Experience coordinating with hospital IT, revenue cycle, and compliance teams.

Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the implementation of FDA cleared digital treatments in the US health system. The Senior Manager, Provider Experience and Clinical Transformation is responsible for driving revenue growth and patient impact by ensuring that health systems, provider groups and other organizations are actively engaged with, understand and have a smooth experience supporting their patients to use Big Health’s FDA cleared treatments.

This role requires a leader who is able to communicate simplicity in complex environments, build excellent client relationships and leverage data to deliver for clients and to support our Go-To-Market strategy. They ideally bring a blend of clinical, implementation science and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership

    • Be strategic in setting up the implementation function for future growth, bringing in evidence-based methodologies rooted in implementation science.

    • Develop and execute implementation strategies that align with organizational goals and client expectations.

    • Oversee the end-to-end implementation process (from partnering with Sales through launch, stabilization, and handoff to Customer Success ) for health system and provider clients, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-implementation support.

    • Implement best practices and standardize processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, understanding each client’s unique needs and processes.

    • Synthesize learnings from the clients and internal teams to inform our go to market, as well as our internal processes, and continually improving implementations.

  • Client and Provider Engagement

    • Develop and manage the implementation of prescription digital treatments (SleepioRx, DaylightRx) with providers, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.

    • Coordinate with providers and practice staff to design practical workflows for proper prescribing, ordering, patient communication and activation, and billing of prescription digital treatment.

    • Facilitate training sessions for providers and practice staff on the order of prescription digital treatments.

    • Monitor and optimize provider partnerships for growth, using data to define and measure success.

    • Resolve operational barriers during launch and stabilization, coordinate technical implementation and support with Solutions IT Engineering, and partner with Customer Success on an agreed handoff for ongoing account management.

  • Internal Stakeholder Management

    • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve successful implementations, identify and mitigate risks and issues, providing proactive solutions as needed.

    • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success clinical, product, and patient support teams to define and operationalize best in class partnerships and integrations and to ensure seamless project execution.

    • Provide regular updates and reports to clients and senior management.

    • Coordinate with external vendors and partners as necessary, in collaboration with internal partners (e.g., product partnership to support technical integrations for treatment ordering in the EHR).

  • Reporting and Documentation

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.

    • Analyze project performance and prepare reports for senior management.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare implementation or operations, including hands-on practice or healthcare operations experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects with organizations of all sizes

  • Degree(s) in business, project management, healthcare, public health or a related field. Master’s degree preferred

  • Former or currently licensed healthcare or behavioral health provider preferred (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Psychologist, PNP, PA, MD)

  • Experience implementing or optimizing billing and revenue cycle workflows (e.g., charge capture, claims submission, payer coordination) across multiple software systems and organizational structures

  • Working knowledge of payer reimbursement policy, procedure coding (e.g., HCPCS/CPT), and appeals processes

  • Experience coordinating with health system IT, revenue cycle, and compliance teams to navigate technical and regulatory requirements (e.g., HL7 interfaces, SFTP file exchange, contract/compliance review)

  • Strong understanding of, and experience applying, implementation science principles

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in training healthcare providers on the use and maintenance of digital health and/or medical devices and/or experience working in the regulated health care industry is a plus. Sleep medicine or behavioral health experience is preferred.

$140,000 - $160,000 a year

The US total compensation range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000. This range reflects the target total compensation for the role and may include a combination of base salary, bonus, or variable pay, equity, and benefits.
