Walmart is hiring a Senior Manager, Controls Engineering in Bentonville, AR. This role leads BAS design and installation standards across Walmart’s enterprise, driving standardized protocols (BACnet/Modbus) and software-defined building controls at scale.

You’ll guide prototyping, pilots, and full rollout while enforcing IT/OT security policies and coordinating with Construction, Facilities, and IT leadership.

About the team:The Digital Enablement team leads Walmart’s enterprise asset strategy, focusing on refrigeration, HVAC, and lighting controls across retail facilities. This team drives the long-term vision and digital transformation of physical assets by integrating connected, BAS-agnostic systems. Members collaborate across functions to develop advanced telemetry and condition-based monitoring solutions, optimizing asset lifecycles. The team emphasizes engineering standards, vendor alignment, IT/OT security, and scalable data-driven initiatives, fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and technical leadership to enhance operational efficiency throughout Walmart’s store portfolio.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
