Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Program Manager for Facility Services to drive cross-functional initiatives and manage supplier relationships in Bentonville, AR. The role focuses on optimizing parts sourcing, contracts, and service levels while enabling asset uptime and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will lead multiple work streams, collaborate with Global Procurement, and leverage data to forecast spend and improve performance. A Bachelor’s degree and PM experience are preferred.

  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, SLAs, and supplier performance.
  • Oversee program management lifecycle and drive process improvements.
  • Coordinate with Walmart Global Procurement and other partners to optimize suppliers and costs.

Job description

  • Manages initiatives and processes for MRO parts supply chain management to ensure effective and timely maintenance of assets that Facility Services supports including ensuring parts supplier compliance with new or existing systems, supplier contracts, and service level agreements; implement strategies for warehouse and van inventory stocking; utilizing the right technology and processes to optimize Walmart preferred suppliers, at Walmart negotiated pricing, consuming Walmart specified items; execute technology and support enhancements to increase technician repair time efficiency and asset uptime; facilitate supplier sourcing events with Walmart Global Procurement partners
  • Supports cross-functional teams engaged in Facility Services Initiatives and special projects by utilizing parts and materials usage data to inform asset condition, total cost of ownership, forecast spend and frequency of use, predict parts needed for specific scopes of work; OEM conversion and SKU consolidation; leverage data to drive down cost, improve operational effectiveness, and technician efficiency
  • Manages parts escalations from field-based technicians, including sourcing, supplier updates, and order entry. Proactively works aging purchase orders and back orders for timely and accurate updates using Walmart purchase order systems and work order management systems
  • Supplier Relationship Management, including regularly scheduled scorecard discussions, onboarding and offboarding suppliers, improving supplier performance and support; supplier catalog management to eliminate non-specified items, review for preferred pricing from in-stock suppliers, ensure catalog richness including pictures and attributes, and building associates for like-for-like products

  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans programs and initiatives consulting with business partners managers coworkers or other key stakeholders soliciting evaluating and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and costeffectiveness and participating in and supporting community outreach events
  • Drives informed decisionmaking and ensures resolution of critical issues by partnering with senior leaders to identify goals success criteria assumptions risks and known issues within the business creating communication strategy and content educating sponsors stakeholders and executive leadership on program requirements and developing and implementing a program management life cycle
  • Drives program management process improvement by overseeing andor conducting gap analyses evaluating and determining practicality of improvement opportunities developing improved processes based on best practices and standards ensuring alignment of process improvement with department and company strategy providing guidance to project leads on process improvement gaining buyin and approval from leadership on process improvements and overseeing the implementation of processes
  • Interprets and utilizes information for one or more initiative work streams by using various analytical methodologies developing solutions within business areas that reduce cost and meet business goals prioritizing assignments ensuring accuracy of business data recommending program changes to stakeholders based on data and persuading crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to implement changes
  • Evaluates program performance by comparing projections to actual results identifying and analyzing key performance indicators and trend data conducting returnoninvestment analyses reviewing customer response and feedback from key stakeholders identifying and addressing crossfunctional program and project issues collaborating with teams across the company to leverage processes in order to increase service and product capabilities and recommending adjustments and process improvement ideas to leadership to meet deliverables

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
