About The Team

Our team is on a mission to build the next generation of financial services technology, a platform critical to managing accounts and transactions across Capital One's lines of business. We are seeking a Senior Manager to build general platform capabilities and lead a team of Product Managers who do the same, with a persistent desire to learn both the business and technology, sound problem‑solving skills to drive results in undefined problem areas through strong partnerships with a variety of stakeholders, and the ability to mentor and coach other team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate quick learning agility, drive in-depth discovery, formulate data‑backed and principled recommendations, and consistently and proactively identify high‑leverage impact to drive results.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
  • A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing

OR

• Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 4 years of Product Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

• McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
• New York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
