Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Cybersecurity COE in Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead a global cybersecurity organization across product lifecycle, embedding Secure by Design and aligning to regulatory requirements while partnering with R&D, IT, Legal, and Compliance.

The role calls for extensive leadership experience in product security, governance, risk management and budget oversight, with a focus on driving security across regions and products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
• 10+ years leading global product/security teams.
• 5+ years developing, architecting and implementing secure firmware, software or applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global cybersecurity organization supporting Client’s products, platforms, and services
• Define and execute cybersecurity strategy aligned with Client business priorities, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements
• Embed Secure by Design principles into Client engineering and product development processes across the lifecycle
• Provide cybersecurity leadership and guidance to R&D, engineering, and product teams to identify and mitigate risk
• Establish and maintain cybersecurity governance, operating models, and metrics to drive consistent execution across regions
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, IT, Product, Legal, Quality, Compliance)
• Communicate cybersecurity risk posture to senior leadership
• Support audits, customer, and regulatory engagements
• Lead managers and senior cybersecurity or engineering professionals globally
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management

Senior Manager Product Cybersecurity COE

• Pittsburgh, PA

What you’ll do:

The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity provides strategic and people leadership for Client’s product cybersecurity capabilities. This role is accountable for advancing Client’s Secure by Design strategy by embedding cybersecurity requirements, risk management, and governance across the full product lifecycle. The role partners closely with Global R&D Engineering, Product Management, IT, Legal, and Compliance to enable innovation while protecting Client, its customers, and its brand.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global cybersecurity organization supporting Client’s products, platforms, and services
• Define and execute cybersecurity strategy aligned with Client business priorities, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements
• Embed Secure by Design principles into Client engineering and product development processes across the lifecycle
• Provide cybersecurity leadership and guidance to R&D, engineering, and product teams to proactively identify and mitigate risk
• Establish and maintain cybersecurity governance, operating models, and metrics to drive consistent execution across regions
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, IT, Product, Legal, Quality, Compliance)
• Communicate cybersecurity risk posture to senior leadership
• Support audits, customer, and regulatory engagements
• Support the development and delivery of Client’s annual cybersecurity perspective, including active participation and representation at industry conferences and cybersecurity-related events.
• Lead managers and senior cybersecurity or engineering professionals globally.

• Support workforce planning and budget management

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity from an accredited institution
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading global teams in a product, hardware, application or software security field
• Minimum 5 years of experience with firmware, software or application development including developing, architecting and implementing software security solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IEC 62443 and UL2900 standards
• Knowledge of OWASP and NIST 800 series security framework
• Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC)
