Job summary

Collective Health, a leader in transforming health benefits, seeks a Senior Manager of Procurement to lead technology spend, vendor selection, and contract lifecycle. You will partner with Legal, Finance, HR Ops, Product, and Engineering to optimize SaaS licenses and hardware purchases while driving cost savings and process excellence.

You will manage RFPs, negotiate terms, and oversee master service agreements to ensure HIPAA and SOC2 Type II compliance, building scalable procurement processes

Qualifications

  • 7+ years progressive procurement experience with 1–2 years in supervision in technology, healthcare, or regulated business.
  • Proficiency with P2P software and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Deep HIPAA and healthcare compliance knowledge preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and vendor analysis skills to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, and procure-to-pay processes across CH's operations.
  • Oversee RFP processes, draft SOWs, score responses, and run competitive bidding.
  • Manage high-value indirect spending with emphasis on healthcare and corporate categories.
  • Develop and scale a procurement function with cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Tech, and operations.
  • Collaborate to assess current systems and manage annual renewals and RFPs.
  • Maintain spend data, supplier and contract records, and reporting.
  • Work with Legal to review Master Service Agreements, TOS, BAAs, and EULAs for regulatory compliance.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to manage its procurement function across the company. Primary focus of the team is technology spend (software, hardware, services, outsourced labor, etc.). As Collective Health expands its product offering, facilitating new vendor selection, evaluation and contracting the support for these products is increasingly critical work.

In this role, you will assist with sourcing and procurement of technology and services, negotiating pricing terms, managing vendor relationships and contract lifecycle. You will be responsible for SaaS license management and critical vendor relationships. You will work closely with teams across Collective Health including Legal, Finance, HR Operations, Product and Engineering to discover and acquire the best tools and services for our initiatives. What you’ll do:
  • Champion adoption, and lead the end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, and procure-to-pay (P2P) processes across CH’s operations
  • Lead or oversee end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, draft scopes of work (SOW), score vendor responses, and run competitive bidding processes
  • Oversee high value indirect spending, with heavy emphasis on specialized healthcare and corporate categories
  • Manage and grow a procurement function for the company that includes a procurement process with review, oversight, and collaboration with Finance, Legal, Tech and operating teams.
  • Collaborate with various teams to assess current systems and manage the annual renewal and RFP processes.
  • Understand department spending and priorities to best support the organization’s needs. Maintain databases of suppliers and contracts and details related to it.
  • Maintain master data for spends, including its categorization and reporting. Also, use contract data to engage business partners related to contract renewals providing advice on how to optimize contracts
  • Work with our Legal team to manage the review and approval of Master Service Agreements, Terms of Service, BAAs, and End User License Agreements with our vendors, making sure agreements comply regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, SOC2Type II, and Business Associate Agreements (BAA).
  • Coordinate other required reviews before final contract approval, including security, product and technology.
  • Provide Collective Health teams with feedback on procurement requests, including possible cost savings, existing or competing services and products that could better serve the company's needs.
  • Partner with senior leaders to forecast technology and services needs, influencing budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Implement best practices for SaaS license optimization and cost saving initiatives, including regular audits and physical inventory.
  • Develop and launch a comprehensive vendor risk management program in partnership with Security and Legal teams.
  • Where possible, begin establishment of a formal process for strengthening strategic vendor partnerships.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, within technology, financial services, healthcare, or some other regulated business. Healthcare experience, particularly digital healthcare, a plus.
  • Proficiency with advanced P2P software and data analytics tool (e.g. Excel)
  • Deep understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance preferred
  • Exceptional negotiation, financial modeling, and vendor analysis skills, with a proven ability to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
  • A confident problem-solver with a track record for building strong cross-functional partnerships with senior leaders, internal clients and external vendors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills and ability to lead and influence multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with purchasing large orders of computers, software licenses, and SaaS subscriptions
  • Experience sourcing and managing licenses for enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Atlassian, Google, Zendesk, OpenAI) and hardware/software commonly used in a tech-forward organization.
  • The willingness to continue learning and expanding into other business areas as needed to support our procurement needs
Pay Transparency Statement

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for 153,500 stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Lehi, UT Pay Range: $122,800 USD - $153,500 USD

Plano, TX Pay Range: $135,080 USD - $168,850 USD
