Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the preconstruction phase for mission-critical data center projects. You will develop budgets, cost estimates, and value engineering strategies while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

We expect 7–10 years of estimating experience, proficiency with RSMeans/Timberline/WinEst, and strong analytical and communication skills to deliver competitive, accurate proposals in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction estimating, with data centers or mission-critical facilities focus.
• Proficiency with cost estimating software (RSMeans, Timberline, WinEst) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preconstruction phase of data center projects, including budgeting, cost estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
• Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates from conceptual designs, schematic drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive and competitive estimates.
• Analyze project documents to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Prepare and present cost estimates, proposals, and value engineering recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide ongoing support to project teams during preconstruction.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, construction costs, and market conditions.
• Assist in developing and implementing preconstruction best practices, procedures, and tools.

• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED accreditation is a plus.
