Unknown is seeking a Senior Manager, Pain Portfolio to shape and execute medical strategy for a companion animal pain portfolio within a global animal health organization.

The role partners with the Director and cross-functional teams to translate scientific priorities into actionable programs across markets, engaging veterinary experts and supporting congress content.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in veterinary medical roles with customer-facing experience.
• Strong knowledge of companion animal pain management and current science.
• Experience leading cross-functional global projects.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Pain Portfolio to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will help shape and execute medical strategy for a companion animal pain portfolio within a global animal health organization. The position partners closely with the Director and cross-functional teams to translate scientific priorities into actionable programs across markets. It also plays a key role in engaging veterinary experts, supporting congress content, and bringing customer insights back into global planning.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,000 - $185,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director to translate global medical strategies into actionable programs
• Lead execution of medical plans for the companion animal pain portfolio
• Support implementation of global medical priorities across markets
• Monitor and optimize the impact of medical initiatives
• Foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and coordinate scientific exchange activities
• Contribute to scientific messaging for international congresses and key industry events
• Serve as a conduit for customer insights between global and local teams

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent veterinary degree required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in veterinary medical roles with customer-facing experience in the animal health industry
• Strong understanding of companion animal pain management and emerging scientific developments
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects in a global matrix environment
• Experience engaging with veterinary Key Opinion Leaders and developing scientific content
