Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is partnering with a well-established professional services company in the Loop to fill a Senior Manager of FP&A. The role reports to the Director of Finance, who reports to the CFO, and offers growth within a dynamic, high-growth organization.

The Senior Manager will lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, KPI analysis, and cross-functional finance initiatives. Hybrid work in Chicago, with top-notch benefits and a strong, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive finance/FP&A experience.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership experience.
• Big 4 roots preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting.
• Drive financial performance analysis and interpretation of variances.
• Lead monthly forecast, annual budgeting and five-year strategic planning.
• Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams.
• Coach and develop direct reports and support M&A due diligence.

Creative Financial Staffing is working with a well-established professional services company in the Loop to fill a Senior Manager of FP&A position, which is a key role for their finance department. This position is open due to internal promotion.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manager of FP&A

• Manage financial planning activities, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, kpi reporting, etc for one of their fasting growing segments
• Responsible for driving and monitoring financial performance, analyzing and interpreting operating results, investigating variances and unusual items; and evaluating their effect on operations
• Drive the financial planning process for monthly forecast, annual budgeting, and five-year strategic plan
• Work closely with the various business units
• Cross functional contribution assisting executive, regional, sales and supply chain teams;
• Driving standardization & process improvement across operating businesses in all aspects of planning and reporting, including best practice sharing
• Provide coaching & development to multiple direct reports
• Assist with M&A due diligence and scenario modeling.

Experience Preferred for the Senior Manager of FP&A
