Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Capital Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of distribution center capacity and efficiency projects from concept through completion.
You will analyze costs, prepare funding requests, and oversee design, bidding, vendor selection and project execution with internal teams and external partners. This position will be responsible for coordinating and managing the execution of capital construction projects developed and designed to expand distribution center capacity and/or efficiency within the distribution environment from concept to completion. Includes analysis, cost estimation and justification, preparation of funding request documents as well as day to day oversight of project execution, coordination and communication between Supply Chain Management and all appropriate internal and external agencies. He/she will also assist in generating designs, specifications, and RFPs and drive the bid review, vendor evaluation and selection.
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc. Ability to work remotely if requested.
Routine deadlines; usually enough lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; travel or other inconveniences have advance notice; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
