Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice in Orlando, FL. You will build and manage relationships with large clients, lead tax engagements, and oversee delivery, billing, and team performance.

The role requires eight+ years in mutual fund tax, CPA/EA/JD or equivalent, and strong communication skills to advise on complex tax matters and mentor staff.

Qualifications

  • Eight years of recent experience in mutual fund tax.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM; within one year of employment, must obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials.
  • Prior experience in Mutual Fund and/or investment partnership.
  • Proficient in taxation of corporations, partnerships, and other flow-through entities including reviewing 1120 RIC and 1065 tax returns, including Schedule K-1.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information.
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
