Senior Manager, Materials Management and Logistics

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain and Procurement, the Senior Manager will lead end-to-end supply chain operations for critical materials in development, clinical, and commercial cell therapy. The role will manage material planning, inventory, warehousing, cold chain logistics, and distribution to ensure GMP/CLIA compliance and uninterrupted patient delivery.

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Monday to Friday; On‑site

What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team across material planning, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and inventory management.
- Manage receiving, storing, and shipping of all GMP materials, products, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all GMP materials meet required standards.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Clinical Operations to align material availability with production schedule and clinical timelines.
- Partner with Operational Excellence to drive Lean/DMAIC principles and projects.
- Manage spending, budget forecasts, and cost‑saving challenges.
- Partner with site leaders for digital strategy alignment and implementation (LIMS, WMS, ERP).
- Partner with Procurement to maintain Master Data and alignment with P2P processes.
Required Experience and Education
- Working knowledge of biotech supply chain activities (cGMP, 21CFR211)
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years experience in Life Sciences/Biotech
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel and MS Word.
Preferred Experience and Education
- Experience in Life Sciences and/or Supply Chain or related to the Biotechnology industry.
- Experience in paper‑based systems a plus.
- Initiative, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Interpersonal Communication, Customer Service, Attention to Detail, Strong written, verbal communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to comprehend, understand and follow procedures in accordance with OSHA, GMP and other nationally accredited agency guidelines.
- Warehouse environment including temperature‑controlled, refrigerated rooms. Exposure to extreme temperatures including deep freeze and extreme heat.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
