About The Role

The Sr. Manager, Investor Relations, provides analytical and reporting support to the Investor Relations team and senior management, while also providing financial and business information to external parties, including Wall Street analysts and investors. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with wide‑ranging experience and expertise in the finance and accounting field, with basic understanding of Wall Street roles and functions. This person will apply comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting skills to resolve complex issues.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Marlborough, MA office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Partnering across the organization (divisional and regional teams, Corporate FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Communications, and others as necessary) to ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial and business results for use in earnings conference calls, investor conference presentations, investor Q&A responses, and other external inquiries
  • Collaborating to develop and execute on the investor engagement strategy
  • Applying in‑depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross‑group relationships to best position Boston Scientific externally in communications with Wall Street analysts and investors
  • Creating presentations and talking points for senior management, both for internal and external audiences
  • Responding to external requests for information from Wall Street analysts and investors
  • Supporting corporate responsibility disclosure development and review in partnership with the ESG team and Disclosure Committee
  • Providing ad hoc analysis and insights to senior management (e.g., commentary on stock trading activity, competitor stock activity, etc.)
  • Managing and developing a team of two direct reports
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in financial analysis and business support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, charts, financial functions)
  • Willingness and ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organization and distill information into clear, concise reporting and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage deliverables and meet deadlines independently
  • Experience working in cross‑functional teams to achieve shared outcomes
  • Ability to travel domestically 5–10%

Maximum Salary: $243,000

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non‑exempt (hourly), non‑sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
