Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager‑Audit to lead Government and Infrastructure assurance efforts. You will be the primary client contact, guiding teams on complex accounting and auditing matters while delivering quality services to government clients.

You will develop client relationships, oversee field work, and mentor staff, leveraging EY's service lines to drive improvements in finance, governance, and compliance. A CPA and significant audit experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• U.S. CPA license.
• Approximately 8 years of related work experience; or graduate degree with ~7 years.
• Approximately 4 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
• Integrity within a professional environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for our clients and manage relationships.
• Direct field work, inform supervisors of engagement status and lead assurance staff.
• Develop knowledge of client industry and apply accounting/auditing concepts.
• Lead teams and projects, delegating tasks and mentoring staff.
• Provide performance feedback and training for assurance staff.
• Contribute ideas to the assurance teams and share knowledge within the firm.
• Foster an efficient, innovative, team-oriented work environment.
• Apply EY service lines to client needs.
