Responsibilities
- Connect business strategy to research insights and translate them into design solutions, delivering products with mass adoption across all key areas of REPUBLIC Collective and partner artists.
- Serve as the embedded data resource for all data-related questions and actionsacross the label group, generating maximum ROI with minimal turnaround time.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to iterate on innovative and bespoke product features that solve the most important and commercially impactful problems for the business.
- Develop and execute effective UX research processes, producing repeatable, clear, benchmarked, and actionable end products.
- Identify, maintain, and clean the best data pipelines to mine all available information and support industry‑leading KPIs across A&R and marketing.
- Build and refine an extensive knowledge of real‑time users and partners, delivering best‑practice qualitative and quantitative research techniques that fit current and future business needs.
Qualifications
- 3‑5+ years of experience in data analysis, management consulting, entertainment‑industry analysis, or a related role.
- Experience with analytical tools such as Excel, Tableau, BigQuery, Alteryx, and similar platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a quantitatively oriented field.
- Music‑industry experience is preferred but not required.
Desired Skills
- Passion for music and data, with a nuanced understanding of current industry trends and social media impact.
- Advanced querying capabilities in BigQuery and proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or JavaScript.
- Strong Excel skills, including dynamic model building with named ranges and formulaic references.
- Experience with API integration for data import and analysis.
- Familiarity with TikTok and other social media trends.
- Solid grasp of statistical concepts and tools, and ability to apply them effectively in analyses.
- Proficiency in data visualization using Looker, Alteryx, Tableau, DOMO, or comparable platforms.
- Experience building, training, deploying, scaling, and maintaining deep‑learning models.
- Ability to distill large volumes of data into concise, actionable summaries and present findings compellingly.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑sufficient, confident, and capable of pursuing information independently and meeting deadlines.
