Reporting directly to the Financial Reporting Director, this position is a people management role within our Financial Reporting function. You will collaborate across our accounting, finance, and legal organizations to guarantee the timely and accurate execution of critical reporting activities. The ideal candidate brings a robust background in technical accounting, an advanced understanding of GAAP and SEC regulations, and exceptional leadership skills.
The Financial Reporting team is responsible for governing Uber's external financial disclosures – leading the preparation of all quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K/Q) and Earnings Releases, ensuring accurate U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure for complex or significant transactions, and driving process improvements and automation for the reporting process. The team partners extensively with cross‑functional groups, including Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Treasury, M&A Finance and Technical Accounting, and manages the relationship with external auditors.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $182,000 per year - USD $202,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of compensation. All full‑time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
