Partner with the Retail FP&A Director to lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Front Store retail business. This role oversees the annual budget and monthly forecast cycles, ensures accurate financial reporting, and delivers actionable insights that strengthen business performance. The position also collaborates with Front Store Retail Finance leadership to modernize planning systems across the Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness segment and within the Retail Financial Planning organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop top-down quarterly forecasts and the annual budget in partnership with the Retail FP&A Director, working with key stakeholders to establish financial targets and allocate resources effectively.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the retail segment by partnering with Accounting, Finance, and Data Engineering to maintain data integrity.
• Support the implementation of a new merchandise financial planning system (MFP); lead a cross-functional team across IT, Finance, Inventory Management, Merchandising, and Accounting until project completion.
• Oversee financial performance analysis - including variance, trend, and profitability analyses and provide senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of business alternatives and inform strategic decisions.
• Build sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
• Evaluate the financial performance of business units, product lines, and projects to identify improvement opportunities and growth potential.
• Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, coach team members, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A, Finance, or related experience, including
• ~3+ years supporting retail, consumer products, or merchandising organizations.
• ~Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management processes.
• ~Strong financial modeling, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence business and technology partners, manage competing priorities, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience applying generative AI, agentic AI, automation, or advanced analytics to improve planning, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or equivalent experience

Compensation

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
