Forerunner is an early-stage company building intelligent software for government and regulated industries. We’re seeking a Sr Manager - Events to own the end-to-end event channel, including strategy, budget, and execution, with a focus on partnerships and association sponsorships.

You’ll lead conferences, regional gatherings, and lunch-and-learns, shaping how we show up at each event and how we collaborate with hosts and organizers to drive pipeline and revenue.

Competenze

• 6+ years of marketing, B2B events, field marketing, or partnerships with a track record of hitting goals.
• Govtech or public sector SaaS experience preferred.
• Experience running events or partner programs where the goal was pipeline, not attendance.
• Strong writing and project-management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel 30-40%.
• Comfort with ambiguity in a small, fast-moving team.

Mansioni

• Own the event portfolio and budget; build the annual plan and investment decisions.
• Run conferences end to end: booth, collateral, speaking submissions, pre-booked meetings, on-site execution.
• Manage vendors and the physical footprint: booths, swag, print, shipping, services, timelines.
• Build smaller, higher-intent events: lunches, association sessions, dinners, regional gatherings.
• Make the sales team effective at events: playbooks, briefs, meeting targets, post-event follow-up.
• Build association partnerships: sponsorships, speaking slots, webinars, training, member communications.
• Own the numbers: set targets, report results, and shape next year's plan.
