Job Summary

Responsible for the business development of the Fabrication and Rebar production and operations across the organization nationwide. Monitors and maintains efficiency in all fabrication operations. Oversees fabrication and quality control across the business. Works closely with Regional and District Operations Managers, Branch Managers, Warehouse Managers, and regional Fabrication Managers.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Manages fabrication operations across the business including production, budgetary, and other financial performance goals.
• Develops and monitors fabrication production and quality standards and procedures.
• Applies leading-edge knowledge of industry and competitive trends impacting production scope to fabrication processes.
• Oversees the implementation of safety, health and regulatory compliance for all Fabrication and Rebar sites.
• Manages inventory levels across the business and through the production process.
• Manages, hires, trains, and develops a staff of regional Fabrication managers.

Nature and Scope Solutions

Require analysis and investigation. Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors. Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.

Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication or construction industry.
• Experience managing multiple sites in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in utilizing financial indicators to measure performance and costs.

Pay Range

For New Jersey job seekers: Pay Range $131,600.00-$217,200.00 Annual. New Jersey law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs. This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
