Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager, Equipment Commissioning & Qualification (ECQ) Delivery in Summit, NJ. You will lead commissioning/qualification activities for new equipment and validated systems, while directing teams of up to 50 staff and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery within GMP frameworks.

You will manage budgets, develop departmental metrics, and interact with internal customers and external providers to optimize validation strategies and site-wide master plans.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Science required with 7+ years of pharma validation experience.
• Experience managing personnel and projects in GMP environments essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage Equipment Commissioning & Qualification (ECQ) activities and validation teams.
• Lead large cross-functional project teams up to 50 people across multiple departments.
• Develop and manage budgets, headcount, and departmental metrics for the ECQ program.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GXP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 across systems.
• Provide guidance on change control, risk assessment, testing, and validation deliverables.
• Oversee SOPs, WPs, test protocols, and validation documentation.
