Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Continuity Resilience to provide strategic leadership for the company’s continuity and crisis management program. You will oversee governance, standards, and performance, aligning recovery priorities across units and functions to protect people, assets, and operations.

You will drive development of enterprise plans, crisis procedures, and exercises while coordinating with IT disaster recovery, security, facilities, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related 4-year degree, with 5 years’ Manager experience or in lieu of Education over 15 years’ experience.
• Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Advanced interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills up to C-Suite audience.
• Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and manage complex situations.
• Demonstrated Operational Planning, Execution, and Improvement, with customer engagement skills and experience leading teams through organizational change.
• Broad knowledge of public policy related to security, including legislation, applicable security regulations, and standards.
• Excellent consultative skills, including teamwork, facilitation, prioritization, and negotiation.
• Availability for travel to various work locations, external liaison activities and vendor locations, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Business Continuity and Crisis Management program by setting strategic direction, establishing priorities, and driving program maturity across units.
• Translate objectives into actionable governance routines, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Advise executive leadership on continuity planning, crisis readiness, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Direct development and improvement of continuity plans, crisis procedures, and recovery strategies.
• Lead crisis response activities during disruptive events with executive communication and post-event improvements.
• Provide 24/7 leadership support for incident response and enterprise‑level coordination.
• Oversee exercises to validate readiness and strengthen decision-making across the organization.
• Establish governance, metrics, reporting, and documentation standards with audit readiness in mind.
• Identify strategic gaps and drive enhancements to strengthen resilience across operations.
• Coordinate with IT disaster recovery, security, facilities, legal, and external partners.
• Support site resilience and enterprise preparedness activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team in Business Continuity and Crisis Management.
• Oversee resources, budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure effective prioritization.
• Prepare executive briefings and dashboards for leadership and governance committees.
• Represent BCM on security steering committees and cross-functional groups.
• Champion innovation, including AI and automation, to enhance planning and response capabilities.
• Build trusted relationships to promote ownership of continuity responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
