Job summary

Exyte is seeking a Senior Manager Engineering Project Management in the United States to lead design, design/build, EPCM and/or construction projects up to $200 million in scope, budget, and schedule. You will direct proposals, manage teams, and ensure profitability and safety across complex projects.

You will coordinate between clients and internal specialists, enforce contract conformance, and drive continuous improvement within project processes and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• OSHA 10 required/OSHA 30 preferred.
• 10+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience.
• 10+ years of project management experience.

The Senior Manager Engineering Project Management is responsible for running all aspects of a design, design/build, EPCM and/or construction project. Responsible for all scope, schedule, budget, safety, and team management. Must be able to lead and manage reimbursable projects up to $200 million and/or fixed price projects up to $150 million.

Project Planning & Execution

• Provides leadership to the proposal technical team and project team upon award of a contract
• Identifies differentiating factors concerning approach, design, and constructability during bid, proposal, and execution phases
• Coordinates meetings between potential clients and individual internal specialists
• Provides EPC Project Management support to the Business Development group
• Manages EPC, Design, Construction Management and/or Design Build projects
• Accountable for managing the overall execution of the contract

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Provides leadership to the proposal technical team and project team upon award of a contract

Budget & Financial Oversight

• Accountable for managing the overall execution of the contract
• Responsible for project profit and loss commitments through effective scope management, schedule management, cost control, change control, cash management, risk management, and implementation of recovery strategies

Project Delivery

• Participates in continuous improvement plans as directed and/or through proactive application of personal expertise
• Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Company’s project processes, procedures, and policies and is responsible for enforcing the use and conformance thereof
• In coordination with the relevant Discipline Director, executes a master agreement with each consultant
• Maintains a thorough understanding of the Company/Owner contract and all project correspondence and documentation
• Develops and maintains continuous positive relationships with the Client and their representatives
• Monitors the training of all project staff personnel in coordination with Discipline Directors and with available programs
• Promotes positive staff morale, professionalism, and attitude and assists to resolve potential deficiencies when identified or perceived

Minimum Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
• OSHA 10 required/OSHA 30 preferred
• 10+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience
• 10+ years of project management experience

Preferred

• Master’s degree preferred
• Prior experience as a Senior Project Manager for a minimum of two successful projects. Experience on projects under design and/or construction
• Shown acumen for managing people
• Experience in either construction management role or design management role

Technical Project Management

• Ability to oversee complex semiconductor projects, integrating technical expertise with project management skills to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client expectations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and foster collaboration between engineers, contractors, and suppliers.

Risk Assessment & Problem Solving

• Expertise in identifying project risks, implementing proactive mitigation strategies, and solving challenges that arise during construction, commissioning, or technology transfer phases.

Experience in either construction management role or design management role
