  • Strong verbal, written, and executive communication skills, with the ability to convey complex progress and risks in simple, compelling ways.
  • Proven ability to identify blockers early and create practical, collaborative solutions that improve delivery speed and team effectiveness.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product leaders and senior engineers to drive initiatives that span multiple teams and systems.
  • Strong planning skills across budget, staffing, initiative prioritization, and organizational operating rhythms.
  • Experience working with remote, distributed, and acquired teams and helping integrate them into consistent engineering practices and delivery processes.
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, or closely related technical roles with progressive growth in responsibility.
  • 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including direct people management responsibility for engineers.
  • 4+ years of experience leading cross‑functional technical programs or initiatives that span multiple teams, systems, or organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering ambiguous, net‑new, or innovation‑focused technical initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering leadership on resource planning, prioritization, and roadmap or delivery planning.
