Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Chemistry with 6+ years in small molecule Drug Substances.
• Deep experience in process chemistry development, scale-up and tech transfer.
• Strong understanding of cGMP requirements for pharmaceuticals.
• Proven ability to manage project teams, CDMOs and vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CDMO teams in scaling advanced chemical intermediates and APIs for GLP and GMP studies.
• Collaborate with CDMOs to develop scalable, safe, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Perform route scouting and development for small molecule Drug Substances.
• Assist with technology transfers between CDMO suppliers.
• Review and approve manufacturing batch records.
• Assist with closing out supplier deviations and investigations.
• Write and review Drug Substance related technical documents.
