People Stretch Solutions is a Washington, DC-based management consulting firm specializing in strategy, C-level advisory, and business development effectiveness for mid-market companies across North America and EMEA.
Founded and led by an experienced CEO/President, we partner with executive teams to translate ambition into workable strategy, organizational alignment, and disciplined execution. Our work sits at the intersection of strategy and people: helping leaders clarify where they are going, determine how to get there, and successfully lead their organizations through the change required to make it happen.
Demand for our work has outpaced capacity, and we are making our first full-time strategic hire(s). We are looking for an experienced consultant who can own client engagements end to end while helping build the next stage of the firm.
We are also expanding our advisory capabilities around AI strategy and governance, helping clients thoughtfully prepare for and adopt generative AI. This will be an important and growing component of our work, but the foundation of this role is strategic planning, organizational change management (OCM), and helping leaders turn strategy into action.
As Senior Manager/Director, you will be a senior delivery lead for strategy, strategic planning, and change-management engagements and a key contributor to our growing AI strategy and governance practice.
You will work closely with the Founder to shape client engagements, independently lead day-to-day delivery, and represent the firm in front of senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on consulting and builder’s role: you will move fluidly between developing strategy, conducting analysis, facilitating executive conversations, designing change approaches, building deliverables, and helping clients move from decisions to execution.
You won’t simply manage a team of people doing the work. In a firm of our size, you’ll be expected to think strategically and do the work, whether that means facilitating an executive planning session, analyzing data, developing a strategic framework, building a change-management roadmap, or presenting recommendations to a CEO.
This role is well suited to someone operating at the level between a senior engagement manager and a director who wants meaningful ownership, variety, and the opportunity to help shape a growing consulting firm.
