Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in North Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead biomarker analysis for clinical studies in a hybrid onsite/remote setup.

You will develop R and Python programs to extract ADaM datasets and generate tables, listings and figures, and build Spotfire visualizations to reveal patterns that guide clinical development.

Qualifications include an MS in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or related field with at least one year leading data science analysis.

Senior Manager, Data Science, AbbVie Inc., North Chicago, IL (Hybrid (onsite 3 days a week/ 2 days WFH)).

• Deliver biomarker analysis expertise for clinical studies.
• Ensure accurate extraction of relevant clinical & biomarker data from diverse databases & enable advanced visualization with descriptive statistical analysis.

Must have MS in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, or a related field &1 year as a data scientist leading data science analysis & advanced visualization.

Of Experience Required, Must Have 1 Year

• applying R & Python programmingconcepts & techniques related to drugdevelopment;
• exploring & visualizing ADaM datasets in Spotfire;
• providing data science analysis support for Phase I, II, & III clinical trials;
• generating visualization & descriptive statistics with clinical outputs (tables, listings, & figures) with R & Python &
• collaborating with scientists to interpret visualizations & statistical findings, leveraging their expertise in biology & clinical trial domains to effectively guide decisions in clinical development.

Work experience may be gained concurrently.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $142,347.40 - $208,500.00 per year.
