Job summary

North is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Analytics to lead the design and delivery of automated data pipelines, standard analytics methodologies, and enterprise data architecture. You will guide a team across data engineering, BI, and analytics to support sales, marketing, operations, and risk initiatives and to surface impact through clear KPIs.

You will champion long-term data platform strategy, maintain real-time pipelines, and enforce CI/CD and GitHub practices in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or related domain.
• 4+ years of hands-on management experience with hiring and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of automated data pipelines and analytics methods.
• Mentor data engineers, BI engineers, and BI architects.

## **Senior Manager of Data Analytics**## **North - Remote (US)** *Let’s go North, together.* Join our mission to build the largest suite of credit card processing and merchant services. From credit card processing to back-office management, North points the way to smarter, faster, and just plain better payment solutions. ## **Job Overview:**In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of automated data pipelines, standard methodologies for data analytics, database architecture, and strategic insights drawn from the company's data. Outstanding attention to detail, sophisticated computational and programming skills, and the capacity to rapidly develop and act upon in-depth knowledge of our business, products, and processes is crucial for success in this role. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team spanning data engineering, business intelligence, and analysis to advance the enterprise data environment, including ownership of the operational health of the team's data integration infrastructure. This position will partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Risk to improve customer acquisition, onboarding, customer service, and fraud detection. This role is responsible for surfacing the team's impact to leadership through clear reporting and KPIs, and for establishing the long-term strategy and technical architecture as well as the short-term scope for the ongoing evolution of the enterprise data platform. ## **What You’ll Be Doing:*** Mentoring, motivating, coaching, and supporting a team of data engineers, business intelligence engineers, and business intelligence architects to achieve organizational objectives and goals* Delivering and maintaining data services, interfaces, and real-time data pipelines* Establishing strong CI/CD and GitHub practices for data pipelines, setting standards and mentoring the team toward more mature version control and deployment workflows* Interacting directly with business and technology stakeholders to define future-state business capabilities and requirements, and translating those into detailed designs* Maintaining the team's analytics and data integration platforms in partnership with the internal cloud team* Managing the operational upkeep of that integration infrastructure, including starting and stopping services and installing and testing platform upgrades on the Ubuntu servers* Partnering with platform architects to analyze the current environment, detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement* Surfacing and communicating team accomplishments to leadership, including building KPIs and reporting that make team performance and impact visible ## **What We Need From You:*** Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience* 7+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a related domain* 4+ years of hands-on management experience with a track record of hiring and growing teams as well as providing coaching and mentoring* Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to operate in a fast-moving environment* Hands-on approach to closing gaps in data infrastructure and technical execution* Ability to code in SQL & experience with ETL solutions (Informatica IICS and Qlik Replicate)* Prior experience with Snowflake, AWS, Qlik Replicate, Informatica IICS, and HubSpot ## **What we offer:**We offer a comprehensive benefits package that enables our teams to live a *life well lived,* both personally and professionally.
