Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Program Management to join the Enterprise Data & AI Solutions team.

You will drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional data programs and lead a team of Technical Program Managers in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will partner with engineering to break down projects into clear goals, maintain a long-term vision, and coach TPMs to ensure quality delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading complex technical programs across multiple teams
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading TPMs or similar roles
• Data/analytics experience – you’re a data person who can understand and document how data created in systems makes its way across enterprise data landscape.
• Ability to function effectively and consistently when faced with frequently changing and sometimes ambiguous goals
• Ability to drive definition of project scope, develop detailed project plans and facilitate the collection of engineering, operational and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technical Program Managers and provide coaching, feedback, and day-to-day execution.
• Establish lightweight, effective practices for planning, tracking, and delivery.
• Prioritize TPM support across initiatives based on business impact and complexity.
• Act as escalation point for high-risk or complex programs.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment across global teams.
• Encourage adoption of tools, automation, and AI-enabled practices to improve productivity and execution quality.
• Drive program execution across all phases of engineering and PMO standards.
• Document and maintain requirements throughout the program lifecycle.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear program plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Work with development teams to uncover implementation details and proactively identify roadblocks.
• Drive alignment with engineering and operational teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Step into and lead high-priority programs as needed with cross-functional dependencies or risk.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams.
• Identify opportunities to apply automation and AI-enabled tooling to improve program efficiency.
