Job summary

The Jewish Federation Bay Area is seeking a Senior Manager to strengthen the safety and resilience of Jewish organizations across Northern California. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will supervise a small team, oversee security assessments and grant programs, and coordinate with law enforcement and community partners.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence Tue-Thu, travel across Northern California, and after-hours readiness for incidents.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing high-priority initiatives.
• Track record conducting physical security audits and risk mitigation design.
• Experience designing curriculum and leading active threat response training.
• Availability for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Hands-on OSINT to translate threat data into intelligence.
• Proficient with Salesforce, Monday.com, and MS Office; AI tools a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly across NorCal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security audits, threat assessments, and training programs.
• Lead incident response planning and coordination for major events.
• Act as liaison between law enforcement, security teams, clergy, and partners.
• Oversee grant applications and field operations strategy.
• Manage daily field operations and performance evaluations.
