Over three years ago, we embarked on a transformative journey to become a truly global innovative healthcare company with a leading focus on Gastrointestinal (GI) health. We have experienced remarkable growth, nearly doubled our revenues, expanding geographically, and integrating several key acquisitions. We have also evolved our portfolio, expanded into rare and specialty segments, and strengthened our pipeline and people's capabilities.

But our journey is far from complete! In fact, this is just the beginning of a bold new chapter in Alfasigma's history. We are committed to advancing innovation and leveraging our deep expertise to provide better health and a better quality of life for patients and consumers worldwide and expand our reach across diverse markets.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Training, to join the US Pharmaceuticals team.

Scope of the role

The Senior Manager of Commercial Training will provide support to the Associate Director of Commercial Training & Development and be responsible for the development and execution of Commercial training: development and execution of training, as well as delivering initial new hire training courses to ensure employees have the requisite level of disease and product knowledge. This position will play a supportive role in identifying the US Commercial training needs (e.g., sales, product, market, and technical knowledge) and translating these into comprehensive, adult principle learning skills driven, high quality, high energy, compliant training and development programs for all functions to impactfully drive the business objectives. The successful candidate will also be able to interact significantly with other functional and geographical teams across the company. It is critical that this person is committed to building effective cross‑functional partnerships. The position requires adaptability and the capacity to own tasks, problem solve, and see projects through to their end in a flexible and innovative manner.

Your key responsibilities
  • Identify commercial training and development needs; support the US Commercial team (products/technical/skills) needs analysis; develop and implement training and development programs across the field functions
  • Lead the development of high quality effective sales training materials including leaders’ guides, and participant guides, while ensuring a blended learning approach, e.g., virtual, regional, face‑to‑face, national meetings, pull through training
