NASCAR Midwest Division is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Experience and Activation, based at Iowa Speedway. You will oversee partner activation, manage key accounts across Iowa and Kansas speedways, and support events at Chicagoland, Phoenix, and Michigan tracks.

You will partner with Regional Sales, Legal, and Finance to craft new business agreements, renewals, and insightful reporting, while guiding activation plans and asset fulfillment for high‑impact partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in sports management, business, sports marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, client service, agency, partnership marketing, or sports marketing preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary account lead for Iowa Speedway partners during NASCAR events and other motorsports events.
  • Manage a portfolio of partners across Midwest Division track properties.
  • Develop and execute event-weekend activation strategies aligned to partner priorities.

This position will lead account management, partner activation strategy, and sales support activities for Iowa Speedway and Kansas Speedway while supporting partner activities for events at Chicagoland Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, and Michigan International Speedway.This role will guide the onboarding of new partners, develop event-weekend activation strategies, manage contractual obligations and deliverables for key accounts, and provide accurate and timely reporting to support partnership sales efforts.What You’ll Do:- Serve as the primary account lead for key Iowa Speedway partners during NASCAR events, other motorsports events, and special events.- Manage a portfolio of partners before, during, and after events across the Midwest Division’s track properties.- Develop and execute event-weekend activation strategies that support partner priorities and regional sales objectives.- Oversee the fulfillment of partnership assets, including signage, activations, tickets, parking passes, credentials, hospitality, social media, and digital content.- Administer Event Business Management Software (EBMS) for the Partnership Sales and Commercial Experience & Activation teams, including loading contract orders, generating accounting reports, and processing fulfillment reports.- Assist with the creation of new business agreements and lead or support partnership renewal conversations in collaboration with Regional Sales and Legal.- Serve as a liaison to Accounting and Finance regarding trade agreements, trade valuations, past-due reports, payments, and invoice coding.- Manage records and inventory related to signage and hospitality assets for assigned track properties.- Create and update hospitality resource guides, hospitality letters, and related collateral for designated Midwest Division properties.- Support the Regional Sales team by developing partner presentations for new business opportunities, renewals, recaps, and financial updates.- Develop event schedules and plans that support partner priorities and sales strategies.- Collaborate with National and Regional Sales, Marketing, Ticketing, Operations, Legal, National Account Management, Accounting, Event Experience, Group Sales, and other internal teams.- Support revenue-generating partnership opportunities, including race entitlements, area naming rights, official and promotional rights, experiential activations, hospitality, track signage, and social and digital assets.- Build relationships within regional business communities to identify opportunities that support revenue growth for Iowa Speedway and the broader Midwest Division.- Perform other duties as assigned.What You’ll Bring:- Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business, sports marketing, or a related field.- A minimum of three to four years of related experience; account management, client service, agency, partnership marketing, or sports marketing experience is strongly preferred.- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to lead projects from concept through completion.- Excellent organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deliverables, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Creativity and a continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to develop effective new processes and ideas.- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.- Ability to read and interpret complex documents and prepare compelling presentations for internal and external audiences.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database-management systems.- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, including percentages, ratios, proportions, and statistical information, to practical business situations.- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required.- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25%, including some weekends, to Chicagoland Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway.Why This Role?This position offers the opportunity to shape high-impact partner experiences across several NASCAR properties and events.
