Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami is seeking an experienced Pharmacist leader to oversee clinical pharmacy programs and drive formulary management across the hospital. This role emphasizes collaboration with medical staff to ensure safe, effective, and cost-conscious drug therapies.

The position requires Florida licensure, a pharmacy degree, and extensive management experience, with preferred background in healthcare administration and mentorship of pharmacy staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of Florida.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Masters Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration related fields preferred.
• Eight+ years in Pharmacy Management comparable role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support and manage clinical pharmacy programs across Mount Sinai Medical Center.
• Manage hospital drug formulary, conduct drug class reviews and implement cost-effective therapies.
• Identify and report drug utilization reviews to promote rational drug therapies.
• Train and mentor pharmacists, residents and staff; participate in disaster drills and quality reviews.
• Lead with Pharmacy leadership to meet regulatory standards and budgets.
• Coordinate activities of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and publish its newsletter.
