Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a senior leader to provide management and oversight for the Data Management team handling study execution and budget management. You will act as the primary contact for escalations and represent the company in sponsor governance meetings.

The role requires 9+ years in clinical data management, 2-4 years of line management, and a Bachelor’s or higher in a relevant field. A competitive benefits package is location-dependent.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and leadership oversight of teams and projects within Data Management for study execution and budget management.
• Act as primary contact for study-specific escalations (internal or external).
• Represent the company at sponsor governance meetings.
• Ensure staff are allocated to projects according to abilities and competencies; provide oversight, training and mentoring.
• Ensure assets are appropriately resourced and address budget or operational risks.
• Manage performance escalations and highlight upcoming availability to DM Management for continuity.
• Define objectives for team members and provide opportunities for development.
• Support Business Development with proposals and sponsor presentations.
• Participate in sponsor audits and regulatory inspections; implement recommendations.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for a specific DM process and drive process improvements.
