Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Denver, Colorado seeks a finance professional to lead debt capital raising and manage interest rate risk for a fast-scaling data center footprint. The role supports the VP of Capital Markets and collaborates with senior executives to structure financing, scenario analysis, and KPI reporting.

Position Description

This role can be based in Denver, CO in alignment with our flexible work policy (3 days in, 2 days flexible).

Vantage is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, initiative-driven, quick‑learning colleague to execute on projects to support the finance organization, including debt capital raising (acquisition financing, construction financing, securitizations), interest rate risk management, and cash forecasting. You will support the VP, Capital Markets directly and interact with the SVP, Capital Markets and Chief Financial Officer (Global), & SVP, Corporate Development and Strategy, and the teams supporting them. The ideal candidate will be an autonomous self‑starter who is capable of driving results without constant direction. You should have a professional‑growth mindset and be willing to bring forth ideas that can benefit Vantage.

Essential Job Functions

• Debt capital raising initiatives
• Assist in negotiation of term‑sheets and prepare recommendation of debt financing solution
• Prepare project information materials for banks through close interaction with finance, new site development, construction & operations teams
• Create, maintain & update flexible, accurate & user‑friendly financial models
• Manage due diligence process on capital raising initiatives
• Manage information flow with banks, lawyers and internal constituencies
• Negotiate loan documentation
• Maintain trackers with tasks, responsibilities and due dates
• Ensure smooth hand‑over to finance team for funding mechanics, reporting requirements, covenant compliance, etc.
• Coordinate with finance team on any post‑closing interactions with the lenders (amendments, waivers, etc.)
• Monitor competitors' debt financing structures and maintain internal database
• Interest rate risk management
• Perform scenario analysis on interest rate volatility impact on covenant compliance
• Prepare cost‑benefit analysis of various interest rate hedging mechanisms (swap, cap, swaption) & provide recommendation
• Assist in executing interest rate hedging transactions
• Drive preparation of presentations and analysis for the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders across the organization
• Manage development and maintenance of management and investor KPI dashboard reporting
• Create reports comparing Vantage's current capital structure and financing vehicles to peer companies and analyzing/recommending opportunities to optimize cost of capital
• Additional duties as assigned from time to time by Management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and / or Accounting, required
• Strong analytical mind, problem solving skills, quantitative / qualitative skillset, and modelling skills, required
• Self‑starter, ability to operate independently in fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once
• Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
• Executive presence and effective communication skills, required
• 3+ years investment banking experience with Debt Capital Markets (Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, Real Estate Finance, or ABS origination) experience preferred, or 4+ years of experience at a big‑four accounting firm focused on debt capital markets

• Travel required is expected to be up to 5-10% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details

• Salary Range: $135,000 - $145,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
