**Company Overview:**
Cytokinetics is a late-stage, specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing muscle activators and inhibitors for diseases affecting cardiac muscle performance. **Job Purpose:**
This role significantly impacts the annual Clinical Trial budget planning process, including developing and maintaining trial forecasts, vendor management, resource allocation, and reporting.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Utilize enrollment metrics and CRO tools to provide accurate monthly and quarterly clinical trial forecasts for phases 1 and 2.
2. Develop and update program-level and trial timelines to align with forecasts.
3. Apply understanding of CRO operational progress to forecasts.
4. Review, confirm, and approve monthly CRO vendor accruals, updating forecasts with actual costs.
5. Provide variance analysis and explanations for shifts based on enrollment and site activation.
6. Review and negotiate vendor change order budgets, updating forecasts accordingly.
7. Support invoice preparation and reporting related to clinical trial finance and contracts.
8. Partner with Finance and Alliance Management for resource tracking and collaboration support.
9. Refine R&D resource plans, generate reports, and monitor metrics for planning.
10. Perform monthly resource allocation analysis and reporting.

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of financial experience in CRO industry; MBA preferred.
• Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience in financial analysis and proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and quickly respond using project tools and research.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Compensation:**
In the U.S., the pay range is $190,000 - $210,000 annually, with actual offers considering internal equity, geographic region, and experience.
