Job summary

Amazon Science in Bellevue, WA, seeks a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead a high-performing team of Data Scientists and BI Engineers. You will own the AI roadmap for R2L, delivering data-driven solutions across supply chain, operations, delivery, and finance to drive measurable efficiency and customer experience improvements.

You will hire and develop talent, partner with senior leaders, and drive investments aligned with business priorities to deliver outsized impact at scale.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of data science and BI with measurable business impact.
• Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Experience deploying AI products at scale and leading analytics teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as statistics, math, data science or CS.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of Data Scientists and BI Engineers.
• Define multi-year Science & AI roadmap for R2L with measurable impact.
• Define and execute GenAI strategy across workflows.
• Influence senior leaders with data-driven narratives and deep dives.
• Advocate for high-quality measurement in decision making.
• Raise technical bar through mentorship and best practices.
• Stay current with latest data science and AI tools and methods.
